The "Chasing Dreams in China, Perceiving New Chongqing" 2023 Overseas Chinese Media Interview Tour has been launched in Chongqing.

More than 20 foreign media outlets and central media from 13 countries and regions, including the United States, the Philippines, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, Myanmar, Germany, Argentina, and New Zealand, visited Chongqing to admire the scenery of Bayu, feel its humanistic charm, and talk about its development. Lou Hun, member of the municipal party committee's standing committee and minister of the united front work department, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. During the opening ceremony, the head of the interview group and Minister of Information and Communications of the Chinese Federation of Overseas Chinese, Zou Zhiqiang, and the deputy secretary of the district committee, Yu Zhong, and the head of the district, Huang Maojun, gave speeches. In his speech, Zuo Zhiqiang stated that the "Overseas Chinese Media Interview Tour" is an important part of the "Pursuing the Chinese Dream" brand and has been successfully held for 20 editions, with increasingly prominent effects and a growing influence. He hopes that overseas Chinese media friends will use their hearts to perceive and record the new Chongqing during this interview tour.
